The Senegal bushbaby, or galago, at Touroparc Zoo is a small, nocturnal primate closely related to lemurs. It possesses a long tail and large ears, which aid in its nocturnal activities. During the day, these animals rest in dense vegetation, tree forks, hollows, or abandoned bird nests. At night, they become active, leaping between trees in search of food, with jumps reaching up to five meters. To enhance their grip and mark their territory, galagos moisten their hands and feet with urine.

Touroparc Zoo is committed to animal welfare and conservation. The zoo participates in 33 European Endangered Species Programs (EEP), which aim to manage and optimize the reproduction of threatened species at an international level. These programs help maintain genetic diversity and prevent inbreeding among zoo populations.
