Touroparc Zoo, established in 1961 by René Livet, is located in Romanèche-Thorins, France. The zoo spans 12 hectares and features a diverse collection of animals, including mammals, birds, and reptiles.

The zoo is committed to conservation efforts through its Touroparc Conservation program, which supports both in situ and ex situ initiatives. This includes participation in 33 European Endangered Species Programs (EEP) aimed at managing and optimizing the reproduction of threatened species.
