Adventure Valley

Adventure Valley at Union Hall Farm outside Durham is a family adventure park built around a working farm, mixing indoor and outdoor play with an animal section. The Farmyard Barn allows close contact with alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs and goats, the surrounding paddocks hold llamas, donkeys and pigs, and there is an indoor reptile room whose best-known resident is Bertie, a leopard tortoise holding the Guinness record as the world's fastest tortoise.

A lake on the site carries several duck species and rare black swans. General admission covers the rides and the animals together.
