Philip's Animal Garden sits on the road to the Alto Vista chapel in Noord, a few minutes from Aruba's high-rise hotels. It is a non-profit rescue for exotic animals on Aruba and the surrounding islands, founded on the idea that confiscated and surrendered pets need somewhere to go, and it runs entirely on tours, theme days and donations rather than government money.
The collection is a mix of rescued exotics and farm animals - jaguarundi and ocelot, capuchins, a red kangaroo, alpacas, axis deer, boas and pythons, caimans, and the endemic Aruba island rattlesnake - alongside a large parrot and macaw collection built from surrendered birds. Visits are guided and can be combined with animal feeding. Open every day from 8am to 6pm.
Parking is available near the entrance of Philip's Animal Garden. It is free for all visitors, making it convenient to access the sanctuary without any additional costs. Arriving early can help you secure a good parking spot, especially during peak visiting hours.
