About Area faunistica di Cerasella
The Area faunistica di Cerasella is a fenced wildlife enclosure holding fallow deer and wild boar, set inside the state forest of the Parco Nazionale del Circeo at Sabaudia on the Lazio coast. It is an equipped area rather than a zoo: the surrounding forest is open to everyone apart from three strict nature reserve zones, with marked walking and cycling routes and picnic areas with tables and benches, and the enclosure is one stop along the way. The forest is one of the last remnants of the lowland woodland that covered the Pontine plain before it was drained.

- There is no gate, no ticket and no fixed opening hours - the enclosure stands in public forest. Three strict nature reserve zones within the forest are closed to visitors. The park headquarters are at Via Carlo Alberto 188 in Sabaudia.
