About Beale Wildlife Park
Beale Wildlife Park sits on the Thames at Lower Basildon in Berkshire and states over 160 species of birds and animals, from lemurs and zebras to several rare breeds. Fifty-eight are named on its own zoo pages: binturongs, a Linne's two-toed sloth, tayras, Eurasian lynx, a Scottish wildcat, arctic foxes, South American tapirs, guanacos, capybaras, Chacoan maras, six-banded armadillos, naked mole rats, ground cuscus, Bennett's wallabies and reindeer, alongside snowy and burrowing owls, a Palawan peacock-pheasant, blue cranes, macaws and conures, and a reptile collection running to Rio Fuerte beaded lizards and four tortoise species.
The park adds gardens, a narrow-gauge train, play areas, a splash pool and a cafe, and runs animal adoptions and conservation projects. Open all year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
