The Bird of Prey and Mammal Centre sits inside Thorp Perrow Arboretum near Bedale in North Yorkshire, a 100-acre collection of trees that also holds owls, hawks, falcons, eagles and vultures flown in daily demonstrations, alongside a small mammal collection. Displays run at 11:30, 13:30 and 15:30, reduced to a single afternoon flight through much of the winter, so the schedule is worth confirming on arrival.
The arboretum is open 10:00 to 17:00 with last admission at 16:00 and closes only on Christmas Day; there is a tea room and a garden centre on site.
