About Zoo de Bordeaux-Pessac
The Zoo de Bordeaux Pessac keeps giraffes, African lions, jaguars, white tigers, cheetahs, a maned wolf, red pandas, gibbons, ring-tailed and red ruffed lemurs, marmosets, a South American tapir, guanacos, capybaras, moose, zebras and a large bird collection - macaws, sun conures, an African grey parrot, lorikeets, a snowy owl, a kookaburra, pelicans, rheas, ostriches and grey crowned cranes.
There is also a farm corner with Anglo-Nubian and pygmy goats, Valais blacknose sheep, a Mangalica pig, a miniature horse, a mule, cuys, rabbits and hens. Visitors can walk into the lorikeet aviary and feed them, cross the lemur maze, see the jaguar pool from below, cool off in the Aqua Jungle water playground or climb the Cimes de Bordeaux Pessac rope course. Keeper-for-a-day and sleep-at-the-zoo nights are sold separately.
