About Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory
Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is a year-round indoor tropical greenhouse in Cambridge, Ontario, about an hour west of Toronto. Visitors walk through a climate-controlled garden holding thousands of free-flying butterflies from around the world, alongside tropical birds, turtles and an axolotl exhibit, with live and mounted insect galleries. The outdoor grounds - a children's playground, a pollinator garden and a wildflower meadow - are open in the warmer months.
Visits are self-guided and typically take one to two hours. Timed tickets must be reserved in advance, including for children under two, and parking on site is free.
Parking information is available on the zoo's official website.
