About Parque Zoologico de Camaguey
The Parque Zoologico de Camaguey sits inside the Casino Campestre, a large wooded city park laid out in the nineteenth century and reshaped many times since, so that the zoo shares its grounds with an aquarium, a children's funfair, an artificial grotto, a bandstand and the Casino cultural centre. It holds animals of more than a hundred species. Recent arrivals from Africa and Asia include a pair of Grevy's zebras from the southern African plains, a matching pair of antelopes from India, Pakistan and Nepal, and an eland, the large African bovid that ranges from semi-desert plains to mountain country.
Parking information is available on the zoo's official website.
