About Le Camélus - Ferme Pédagogique
Le Camelus is a teaching farm and animal park at Ghyvelde, thirteen minutes from Dunkirk and five from Bray-Dunes, holding more than a hundred animals across some forty species. Among them are a camel, ostriches, emus, rheas, a wallaby, alpacas and llamas alongside farm stock - a Mangalica woolly pig, four-horned sheep, cattle, donkeys, fallow deer and rabbits.
Visitors may feed and stroke the animals. The farm runs family visits, a story-led exploration trail, birthday parties, school and holiday-club programmes for every age group, sessions for visitors with special needs, and hires out function rooms. Open all year, with undated tickets sold online or at reception.
