I Falchi di Rocca Romana - Centro Volo Rapaci

I Falchi di Rocca Romana is a birds of prey flight centre in the woods below Rocca Romana, north of Rome near Lake Bracciano. It is run as a programme of booked activities rather than an enclosure to walk round: a flight demonstration at midday, Falconer for a Day, the Baptism of the Glove in which visitors walk the woods carrying and calling back the centre's Harris's hawks, archery sessions on a Robin Hood trail, barbecues combined with flights, and school days built around falcons, owls and buzzards.

Its birds include Harris's hawks, a barn owl, a little owl, a kite and an eagle, and the centre also works with the local Etruscan-Roman museum and castle on joint visits.
