Les Maitres du Ciel is a falconry centre at Le Moulin de Charin in La Pommeraie-sur-Sevre, Vendee, fifteen minutes from the Puy du Fou. It is built around a falconry ground with free-flight demonstrations and teaching workshops rather than a walk-through collection: visitors meet the birds, learn how they live and where they sit in the ecosystem, and a half-day initiation from age eleven puts them in the field with the falconer.
Sessions are also run for schools, conservation associations, specialist care centres and works councils, and are sold as gift vouchers.
