About Papageienhof Dreiländereck
Papageienhof Dreilaendereck sits where North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Lower Saxony meet. It is a parrot sanctuary and boarding house rather than a conventional zoo: alongside the aviaries of amazons, macaws, African greys, cockatoos and lories it runs a parrot hotel for owners on holiday, a residence for long-term care, and a small private shelter for birds that can no longer be rehomed. Visitors can see the parrots and the giant tortoises, and children the miniature ponies, pygmy goats and alpacas.
