Wildpark Eekholt in Schleswig-Holstein is a nature experience park holding more than 700 animals of over 100 species, concentrating on the wildlife of northern Germany - red, fallow, sika and roe deer, wild boar, wolves, otters, wildcats, badgers, martens and foxes - alongside white and black storks, cranes, eagles, owls and a working falconry with flight demonstrations.
It runs a wild bird rescue station, the Eekholter Wolfsmeile and an extensive education programme, and it is open every day of the year until dusk.
