Emaus lantgard is a small free farm park run by Uddevalla kommun, a favourite locally since the 1960s. It sits inside the Emaus nature reserve among broadleaf trees and pine, with a viewpoint over Byfjorden. Visitors see the farm animals in their paddocks and can join pop-up activities that vary with the season and the animals' needs; the hens are fed at 11:00 and the pigs at 13:00 every day, with staff talking about them as they go.

- Free to visit. Do not feed the animals - the farm asks this firmly, because the wrong food or too much of it, even grass, makes them ill - and do not go into the paddocks. Dogs are welcome on a lead but not in the visitor stable or the paddock by the hen yard. The 600-metre Emaus walk is passable with a wheelchair, walker or pram.
