Lindenhof Erlebnishof in Hammerbach near Erlangen is a 30,000 sq m outdoor family destination built around a small zoo - goats, pigs, llamas, raccoons and meerkats - which visitors may feed. Around it are a mud play area, a large bouncing hill, a pedal-car track, a low ropes course, ball runs, a football and car-soccer pitch and a play meadow, with a kiosk on site.
A detective game and a treasure hunt can be bought at the till for 2 euro each. The farm is inspected by the district veterinary office under paragraph 11 of the German Animal Welfare Act. Pony rides are no longer offered - the ponies have grown old and the farm has retired them.
