About Granja Escuela Naturalia
Granja Escuela Naturalia at Esquiroz in Navarra is a farm school founded in 1994 by Inaki and Elena, who left teaching to combine education with the outdoors. Visits are guided and hands-on - the tour goes round the animals to see, touch and feed them, and many of them have a story behind how they arrived. It keeps horses, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits and emus.
Visits run as a single morning session at 11:30 on weekends and public holidays from mid-September to mid-June, booked and paid in advance; the summer is given over entirely to children's camps. The farm also runs weekly after-school farming sessions, celebrations and a Basque Olentzero event in December.
Visitors can park in designated areas near the entrance of the farm. Parking is free, but it is advisable to arrive early during peak times to secure a spot.
