About La Ferme du Rialet
La Ferme du Rialet sits at over 1650 metres in the Parc Naturel Regional des Pyrenees Catalanes, on the commune of La Llagonne. It is a working cheese dairy and teaching farm in one: two hectares outdoors and 600 square metres of barn holding more than 150 animals of some 30 breeds - horses, ponies, donkeys, a llama, goats, sheep and ewes, rabbits, hens, geese and ducks - met along an educational trail.
Every activity is covered by the entry ticket, cheese is made on site and sold at the farm, and school and holiday groups get a private visit with a keeper throughout.
