About Natuurcentrum Gorinchem
Natuurcentrum Gorinchem combines a petting farm, a nature playground, a lunchroom and an art exhibition space, and runs nature and environment lessons for schools across the region. Its residents are miniature donkeys, goats, sheep including small Ouessant sheep, pigs, miniature horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, degus, chickens, turkeys, small birds, fish and a yard cat.
In summer the animals graze the meadow; in winter they move to two cuddle yards so the grass can recover. The centre also boards small pets during the holidays and takes animals out to visit care homes.
