About Parque El Hosquillo
Parque de El Hosquillo lies in the heart of the Serrania de Cuenca Natural Park at Las Majadas, 910 hectares of enclosed mountain valley. It was created in 1964 as a game farm and has been run as an experimental centre for conservation, research and education since 1996, under the regional government of Castilla-La Mancha. Visitors see red deer, roe deer, wolves and bears in large enclosures against the limestone cliffs of the serrania, and the visit begins at the Casa del Parque in Las Majadas, from where a bus takes the group into the valley.

- Advance reservation is essential - only visitors with a confirmed booking are admitted, and each departure is limited to about 35 people. Visits run at fixed departure times on weekends and public holidays, with school groups on weekdays. The visit starts at the Casa del Parque in Las Majadas and includes the return bus. There is no food service in the park.
