About Reptilarium du Larzac
The Reptilarium du Larzac opened at Sainte-Eulalie-de-Cernon in 2005 and shows the largest reptiles it can - a 130 kg python, giant tortoises, lizards and crocodiles - over a visit of about an hour and a half. Keepers feed the animals every afternoon and run handling and talk sessions, 10:30-12:00 and 14:00-17:00 in season and 14:00-16:00 out of it.
In warm weather outdoor enclosures open with further tortoise, iguana and monitor species and a mini-farm for younger children. The building is wheelchair accessible, dogs are not admitted, and no booking is needed except for groups of 20 or more. Food is served on site in July and August.
