About Linton Zoo
Linton Zoo Conservation Park is a small family-run breeding centre at Linton in Cambridgeshire, opened in 1972 on the grounds of a former plant nursery. It is heavy on birds and breeds several species that are hard to see elsewhere in Britain - blue-crowned laughingthrushes, blue-throated macaws, Bali starlings and Blyth's and trumpeter hornbills - alongside Amur tigers, snow leopards, African lions, Hartmann's mountain zebras, binturongs, four lemur species and cotton-top tamarins.
There is a reptile and invertebrate house and, separately, a dinosaur trail, which is not part of the living collection.
Parking is available on-site for visitors. It is recommended to arrive early to secure a spot, especially during busy periods. The parking is free, making it convenient for families and groups visiting the zoo.
