Tiergehege Reuden
Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Germany
About Tiergehege Reuden
The Tiergehege Reuden at Bitterfeld-Wolfen has been run since 1 January 2023 by the Tierschutzverein Zoerbig e.V. Its animals are farm stock and rescues rather than exotics - Cameroon sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, pigeons, cats, dwarf and lionhead rabbits, donkeys, a mule and riding ponies - and each one has its own page inviting a sponsor to cover its feed and vet costs, with the monthly amount left to the sponsor.
There is a farm shop on site, rooms can be hired for birthdays, and the association also runs the Rehkitzrettung Anhalt-Bitterfeld, rescuing fawns from mown meadows. Closed Tuesdays; dogs on a lead are welcome.
