About Kinderboerderij De Urker Hoeve
Stichting Kinderboerderij Urk runs the petting farm De Urker Hoeve on the island of Urk in Flevoland. It moved from its former site on the Urkerweg, which was known as De Stekplek, in mid-2026, and the new farm is still being built - an aviary, extra shed, covered seating, pond and planting are all still to come, and the farm states it remains closed to visitors until a new keeper and volunteers are in place. It is a charitable foundation funded by donors.
