About Tierpark Tannenmühle
The Tierpark at the Tannenmuehle in the Tal der Muehlen near Grafenhausen in the southern Black Forest belongs to a hotel and inn and is open to day visitors. Its best-known animals are the white red deer stags. The petting zoo proper holds pot-bellied pigs and Ouessant sheep - the smallest sheep breed in Europe - while goats, Valais blacknose sheep, ponies, donkeys, alpacas and deer can be stroked over or through the fence, and goats, pigs, sheep, deer and the trout of the house's own trout farm may be fed.
Alongside them are Galloway cattle, ibex, peafowl, pheasants, ducks, geese, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, budgerigars and other exotic birds. Donkey walks are led by the family's daughter.
Parking information is available on the zoo's official website.
Check the zoo's official website for practical visitor tips.
