About Zoom Torino
ZOOM Torino at Cumiana, west of Turin, is an immersive bioparco laid out as habitats rather than cages, with glass and water separating visitors from the animals instead of bars. Its sections run from an African savannah with white rhinoceros, impala, ostrich and cranes to an Asian area with siamangs, red pandas and Indian crested porcupines, a Madagascar section with ring-tailed lemurs, an aquatic habitat with hippopotamuses and Asian small-clawed otters, a birds-of-prey arena flying steppe eagles, saker falcons and Harris's hawks, and a bat and reptile house. There are swimming pools open in summer and an evening opening programme.
