The Kordofan giraffe, native to Central Africa, is one of the nine recognized subspecies of giraffes. At Touroparc Zoo, these giraffes are part of the diverse collection of over 600 animals representing 120 species across the park's 12 hectares.
Touroparc Zoo is committed to conservation efforts, including supporting the preservation of giraffes in their natural habitats. In 2010, the zoo established the 'Touroparc Conservation' fund to finance programs aimed at protecting endangered species through education, anti-poaching initiatives, and scientific research.
