Parc Animalier de Sainte-Croix offers visitors the opportunity to observe Przewalski's horses cohabiting with European bison during the Wild Safari Train Expedition.

The Przewalski's horse, known as the last wild horse species, was once native to the steppes of Central and Eastern Europe, extending to Central Asia, with Mongolia being its last stronghold. Discovered in 1879 by explorer Nikolai Przewalski, the species was named in his honor. Zoos have played a crucial role in its conservation, preventing its extinction.

At Parc Animalier de Sainte-Croix, these horses can be observed during the Wild Safari Train Expedition, where they share a habitat with European bison. This setup allows visitors to witness the natural behaviors of these species in a setting that mirrors their native environments.

The park spans 120 hectares and is dedicated to showcasing European fauna and contributing to global biodiversity. It houses over 1,500 animals representing 130 species, many of which are involved in conservation and reintroduction programs aimed at protecting endangered species.
