The park spans 120 hectares and features over 1,500 animals representing 130 species, including European fauna and endangered species from around the world.
In 2020, to mark its 40th anniversary, the park established a breeding center for European pond turtles (cistudes d'Europe) to support reintroduction efforts for this threatened species.
The park is also a member of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), participating in various conservation programs.
